December 18, 2013 11 Mile Ice Fishing report: Tough Bite!
Eleven Mile is 99% covered with 10-12" of ice. Fishing has been tough over the last week, with concentrations of fish being hard to find. Be sure to cover water in search of high fish traffic areas if your spot isn't producing. The water clarity is sub-par with the west end being the worst. Site fishing is key on the days when the fish are being fickle about taking the bait. If you have multiple fish come in and deny your bait with it sitting still, try moving it ever so slightly. There are bite windows with heavy fish movement, but the trick is running into these windows!
