Tarryall is 100% ice capped and fishing is good!

Tarryall Reservoir, near Jefferson, Colorado, is completely capped with 4-8″ of ice.  Fishing has been good for rainbow and cutbow trout.  We have heard that fishing is good in 5 to 12 feet of water using small kastmasters, Dx Lures, rat finkies, tube jigs, and other small plastics.  Be sure to tip your presentation with a meal worm, wax worm, or piece of shrimp.  We have not heard any northern pike reports as of yet.  As always, use caution as early conditions can change quickly, especially with warmer than average weather!
