Antero Ice Fishing Report 1/31/2022: The ice thickness is 13″+ with approximately 4-5″ of snow on the ice. The fishing has been consistent when you are willing to move! The trick is to stay mobile and find the fish “path of travel” for the day. A mixture of jigs have been working well. Bright colors have been working best on sunny days while more natural colored jigs work better on overcast days. Tube jigs and small tungsten jigs that are tipped with either a meal worm or a wax worm have been working best. Remember to stay mobile and cover water!
