Safe to say the first ice fishing expedition of the year was an incredible success!
Antero has 6-7″ of good ice throughout the lake. However, it’s still early ice and the ice can still fluctuate drastically from day to day, so be safe and make sure to use safety gear

Please see our early ice safety tips in the last report.Rainbows, cutbows, and browns, oh my! Iced 30 fish today with 4 being over 20″. Average size was 16-18″ with all the fish being super fat and healthy. The two biggest went 21″ and 23.5″.

Lastly, I’ve been using Enticer Jigs for almost a full year now and they are still constantly producing BIG fish. The ol faithful watermelon fuzz bug did it again and caught the 23.5″ stud of a rainbow along with many others. These jigs are without a doubt big trout candy!
