Lake San Cristobal 12-29-23
Lake San Cristobal Lake San Cristobal is all capped with 7-10 inches of ice with very little snow on top. There are a few pressure ridges but they have frozen back together very nice. Fishing has been good. The fish have been very scattered across the water column so pay attention to that fish finder and move often.
As always, be cautious on early ice, check thickness yourself, make sure to have spikes, spud bar, rope, and a throwable flotation devise. Check your own ice don’t just go because you see somebody out there.
