Antero Ice Fishing Report: Not much change…
Antero reservoir still has plenty of ice with some snow on top. Fishing has remained steady most days with the fish preferring smaller ice jigs and baits the majority of the time. Tipping your presentation is very important as well! Make sure you have some variety of meal worms, wax worms, earthworms and/or shrimp! Color varies by day, but having a few bright colors and a few natural colors in the rotation has been the ticket! We are seeing 5-10 fish in a 6 hour trip with other opportunities as well most days. The brown trout population seems to be better than we have seen in a while on this lake! There are some nice fish that show up once in a while as well!
