Antero Ice Fishing Report: Ice on!

Antero reservoir has 5″+ across the entire lake!  Fishing has been good most days for a mix of rainbow trout, cutbow trout, and brown trout.  Fish have been showing up in 4-12′ of water.  Jigging has been good during low light hours while dead sticking has been best the rest of the time.  Tube jigs, tugsten jigs, kastmasters, Dx lures jigging spoon, and other small ice jigs have all been producing!  Color has varied day to day and hour to hour, but you can bet on pink, orange, green, and white to be staples every day.  Tip your jigs/lures with a piece of mealworm, wax worm, or shrimp for best results.  ALWAYS use extreme caution on early ice and fish with a friend!
