We have ice on Blue Mesa from about 100 yards west of hwy 149 bridge all the way east to the inlet. Ice ranges from 1-4 inches. With river flow and warm sunny afternoons ice conditions can change quickly. Be smart out there always have ice picks and a spud bar. If possible have a buddy with a rope when checking new ice. Always check ice conditions yourself before walking out! Use CAUTION especially with early ice and have fun out there!!
