Early Ice Conditions, First Days Out on Antero Reservoir!

Antero Reservoir – Ice is a very inconsistent 1-3″ on the south shore. Always be very careful and bring ice picks, a spud bar, and a buddy with a rope when checking new ice!! The morning started out at -18°F but the temps in the afternoon have been reaching the high 40s the past few days, so the ice thickness could vary every day. USE EXTREME CAUTION!!
